We're looking for a game programmer to join our team and help build the systems, tools, and gameplay features that power our next title. You'll work closely with designers, artists, and other engineers to turn ideas into shippable, performant code. The ideal candidate is comfortable owning features end-to-end, enjoys collaborating across disciplines, and cares about both the craft of code and the feel of the final product.
What you'll do
Design, implement, and maintain gameplay systems, mechanics, and tools
Collaborate with designers to prototype features and iterate based on playtesting
Write clean, performant, and maintainable code in a modern game engine
Debug and optimize across CPU, GPU, and memory to hit platform performance targets
Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering standards
Help diagnose and resolve issues found during QA and live operations
What we're looking for
3+ years of professional game development experience, or one or more shipped titles
Strong proficiency in C++ or C# and solid understanding of object-oriented design
Hands-on experience with a major game engine (Unity, Unreal, or proprietary)
Comfort working with version control (Git, Perforce) and collaborative workflows
A working knowledge of math fundamentals relevant to games: vectors, matrices, interpolation
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset
Nice to have
Experience with multiplayer or networked gameplay
Familiarity with mobile, console, or live-service development
Background in tools programming, AI, physics, graphics, or audio
A portfolio of personal projects, game jams, or open-source contributions
What we offer
Competitive salary and equity
Health, dental, and vision coverage
Flexible PTO and company holidays
Remote-friendly with home office stipend
